Infinity Blue (PNG) Limited is a newly established natural resource products marketing company based in New Ireland province, Papua New Guinea.

Infinity Blue PNG's business strategy is to focus on adding value to the production of natural resources, including marine and fisheries resources, and cash crops, such as coconut, cocoa, coffee, and vanilla. Other sustainable business concepts are in the company's business strategy for investments in New Ireland province.

Mangrove and seagrass conservation project

The New Ireland Mangrove and Seagrass Biodiversity Conservation, Livelihoods and Blue Carbon Project will be the first of its kind project for New Ireland province.

The project is funded by the Australian Government in partnership with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) under the Blue Carbon Accelerator Fund (BCAF).

Infinity Blue (PNG) Limited, in partnership with Griffith University in Australia, which prepared and submitted a proposal in 2022, which has been successfully approved by the BCAF-IUCN Grants Approval Committee in December 2022 and entrusted Infinity Blue (PNG) Limited as Project Implementer.

The project is funded for 18 months by the BCAF.

Project partners

The New Ireland Mangrove and Seagrass Biodiversity Conservation, Livelihoods and Blue Carbon Project is a partnership between IUCN and Infinity Blue, supported by the Australian Government's Blue Carbon Accelerator Fund, Griffith University, the University of Papua New Guinea, and the New Ireland Provincial Government.
